Z`Chiro MedSpa, LLC (ZCMS) is a unique Multi-Specialty company, that will serve the diverse and developing communities in of Metro Atlanta, helping it to become more diverse in the areas of public health, access and education to the less educated about what chiropractic care has to offer with the value of preventive care.
ZCMS will reach the needs of the whole family being more effective in whole body wellness, while adding an overall value to the cost to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
ZCMS will provide therapeutic management and rehabilitative care to return patients to pre- clinical status followed by maintenance programs designed for preventive and wellness care. The emphasis of the practice is on acute to wellness care.
A survey by Thomas Medsat has found that “more than 37 % of US households” used some form of “alternative care”. The survey concluded also that the driving demand for alternative health care over the past year are the well-educated and of which 49.9% (nearly 50%) earned income $100,000 and more.. 49.6 % of those have post graduate degrees. Clearly ZCMS target market is one describe above which is approximately 15% of the population in metro- Atlanta along with surrounding counties and growing! The ethnic breakdown of alternative health care users is fairly balanced with 47.4% of “mixed race”. At the other end of the spectrum, only 26.6% of African Americans utilize alternative care. The age ranges of users also are generally balanced. The smallest group is the over age-65 groups with 28.3% utilization.
Today the public’s understanding of the philosophy of “Alternative Care” is changing. 40 % of those who used alternative care did so primarily to supplement traditional care. 33% utilized alternative care to “treat an illness” and 9.9% did so to prevent an illness. These are exciting findings in that many of these individuals are likely to be decision-makers or in positions to influence the change in Modern Health Care.
